Wrapping Challenges

Who doesn’t like a good challenge!?

Do you get bored easily? Do you enjoy learning something new? Do you want to take it up a notch and learn something above your current skill level? Only know how to use longer wraps? Want to learn how to use that shorty that’s buried at the bottom of your stash? Ready to adventure into the realm of back carries?

Well, if you said yes to any of the above, then you’ve come to the right place! Below are multiple challenges, each with their own rules, hashtags, and groups to show off your new skills or ask questions in.

Our Challengers:

Amy Wraps Babies website and Facebook page for questions, comments, resources, & additional support!

Wrapping My Heart Challenge Group on FB for all of her challenges, extra support & commentary, and her YouTube Channel to subscribe and see what new things she is up to!

** Many of these challenges were created to do over certain periods of time, however they can be done at any time that a wearer wishes to be challenged! 🙂 Enjoy being inspired!

*** If the challenge you seek does not have specific instructions for how many carries in how many days, try to learn a single carry in 2-3 days

****Some tutorials are still being created for some challenges so if you come across a tutorial that you need (with the exception of WMH’s Fancy Finishes Challenge) head on over to my Babywearing Tutorial Library and find the correct instructional video there for the time being

Grab your wraps, grab your babies, and above all else, be confident! Happy Wearing!

Long Days Short Wraps Challenge with Amy Wraps Babies

“Welcome to the Long Days Short Wraps Challenge! In this challenge we celebrate the long summer days with carries that use our short wraps! The carries in this challenge will range from base-4 to base-2 (maybe base-1 if you do not use any sling rings). Sling rings are not required but could prove useful, especially in our last two weeks.

For this challenge we’ll have a carry of the day for each weekday in June (2016)**. This allows us the weekends to catch up, have more time to work on carries that may have stumped us during the week, or try variations of carries that we didn’t get to during the week. Each week we’ll focus on a skill or theme, usually for both front and back carries. The challenge will feature carries that generally get progressively more difficult as the weeks go on.”
